Wonders of Wool

Description

Wool Council for a series of talks and an interactive workshop where you will learn about the wonders of wool. Hear about new and exciting projects around the island of Ireland from our guest speakers and take part in the BIG KNIT!

This event will be hosted by Limerick School of Art and Design with emerging Artists and Designers showcasing their current projects with Irish grown wool including a project showcasing Rathlin island wool. There will be an opportunity to get involved with a BIG KNIT workshop which will welcome participation from all the attendees.

This workshop/open studio event follows on from the ‘Wonderful Wool’ event which had over 120 attendees. It is also run in conjunction with the IGWC event on the same day with a creative seminar and stands to talk to makers, creators and presenters from across the island of Ireland who are harnessing the wonders of wool.

This event was a follow-on event for the FII Wonderful Wool Event at Ulster University.
