This project helped the Welsh Government to revise their Welsh Housing Quality Standards (WHQS) and how they should be monitored for future performance. More specifically, the research analysed data from across 42 key housing standard indicators and datasets and assessed and evaluated the extent to which WHQS has been successful. The project provided a summative evaluation and recommendations for the development the revised standards implemented by the Welsh Government for social, economic and wellbeing as well as improvement to housing stock. This included mixed methods including gathering primary qualitative evidence from stakeholders, analysis of large datasets and a literature review.
