In this series of talks, I explored the use of MemoQ, a professional computer-assisted translation (CAT) tool, within the context of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL). I demonstrated how its integration into language education provided learners with hands-on experience in translation workflows, fostering both linguistic accuracy and digital literacy. The presentation highlighted MemoQ’s role in supporting vocabulary development, consistency in language use, and the creation of personalised translation memories. I also discussed its particular value in minority language contexts, showing how it can enhance learner engagement and bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice.
