The Art of Academic Writing: Re-Crafting Books for Inspiration

In the Council Room from 4:00 - 5:00 pm

Re-crafting books with mixed media materials, poetic interventions and textile applications will encourage novel approaches to the art of academic writing. We will cut and paste, stitch and embellish books to repurpose their content for artistically informed academic writing. This art of writing studio will promote the mixing and matching of words and images in relation to our own scholarly pursuits as both artists and writers. The goal is to make academic writing a creative composition that becomes us.
