Description
The rationale for the project is to introduce the Voices of Young People in Care (VOYPIC) youth group to the Belfast School of Art through interactive art making and the Walking Studio. The project involves the art of walking through the Cathedral Quarter to create art in the Cathedral Gardens, participate in guerrilla gardening (graffiti with plants) in raised bed planters on the side of the new Belfast campus building and to create posters with "words to live by" in the glass cube gallery in the Birley Building, which is used by the Belfast School of Art. The MAC Belfast also facilitated an interactive workshop for the VOYPIC group as part of their exhibition At The Table, which highlights social inclusion and the sharing of activist agendas.Period | 26 Apr 2023 → 10 May 2023 |
