This project produced Adjustment factors for NIHE for financial year 2022/23, updating the previous adjustment factors calculated in 2020/21. The projected employed the DCLG “Stock Valuation for Resource Accounting: Guidance for Valuers - 2016” Beacon Methodology Guidance 2016 to provide NIHE with sub-regional “adjustment factors” by house type and housing market area and further offered calculation of housing stock valuation. The project also offered a refinement in the approach through research with local estate agents, data output and analysis in accordance with improved data availability and sub-regional analysis premised on stock profile and mix to provide a more robust set of adjustment factors.
