Connolly was the Curator & Organiser of this event. Connolly invited International Artists, National Artists & Local Artists to participate in the week long event including public Performances, Student Workshop and a public Lecture.The Belfast International Festival of Performance Art in 2015 was part of the Ulster University's 'Festival of Art & Design.BIFPA15 generated new performance artworks by international, national & local artists, along with work created by students and recent graduates of the Fine Art Course. The festival aimed to provide opportunities for students to encounter, witness, participate and experience contemporary performance art practice. The key invited artists were: Helge Meyer - Germany, Marilyn Arsem - Boston/USA, Paulin Cummings - Ireland, Aliansyah Caniago - Indonesia, Maurice Blok - Finland, Fergus Byrne - Ireland, Mads Floor Anderson - Denmark, Wahshi Kuhi - Kurdistan/Berlin, Peter Morgan-Barnes - UK, Christof Gillen - Belfast, etc. A seminar on 'Performance & Re-performance' was devised by Amanda Coogan with contributions from her, Alatair MacLennan & Marilyn Arsem and chaired by Shirley MacWilliam. Marilyn Arsem was also a key note speaker in the Conor Lecture Theatre during the festival program. Helge Meyer hosted a performance art workshop for students in the Pollen Gallery, Belfast, with a public group presentation of their works at the end. Paddy Blommer hosted a kinetic sculpture workshop for students in T13 in the Harbour Estate, Belfast. A public presentation/performance of their work also occured at the end of the workshop process. At the end of the event the 'Performance Art in Ireland, a History' book was launced by Aine Phillips, it's editor. In addition a special exhibition was instigated by Connolly in the GT Gallery, of the work of Performance Art Documentor: Jordan Hutchings 4th. - 25th. June, 2015.
