Description
Talking TYA 2020 is a virtual conference that brings together scholars and artists from across the island of Ireland and internationally to discuss participation in all forms of Theatre for Young Audiences performance, process, policy, training and engagement. It will be an online event, allowing people to join us from across the globe. The conference programme runs from Thursday 8th October - to Saturday 10th October 2020. This virtual event using ZOOM will include a mixture of live and pre-recorded content, breakout sessions, and a space for academics and artists to showcase their work. Although we are disappointed not to be meeting face-to-face, we are excited to bring the TYA community together online to share our work and our stories.
Organised as a collaboration between staff from Ulster University, Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, NUI Galway and Branar Téatar do Pháistí, the conference is supported by Galway 2020 and will be held in a partnership with Baboró International Arts Festival for Children.
