Description

To develop an international multidisciplinary network to further research and policy on reproductive health from a sustainable development approach. Specifically this includes academics at Ulster University (Bloomer), University of Liverpool (Pierson), Rhodes University (Macleod, Chiweshe) and the University of the Philippines (Claudio). The academics are a blend of leaders in their field (Bloomer, Macleod, Claudio) and early career academics (Pierson, Chiweshe) who are developing innovative research in their disciplines.
The policy/ practitioner team comprises reproductive health organisations Likhaan (Melgar) and RESURJ (Viana). Both have extensive experience as service providers and policy advisors in areas of sustainable development (Likhaan on a national basis, RESURJ transnationally).
