Paddy Donnelly is a web designer turned award-winning picture book author illustrator. Paddy now lives in Belgium, but grew up on the beautiful north Antrim coast, surrounded by mythical stories of giants, magical creatures and shape-shifting animals. All of this prompted his love for nature, animals, the sea and storytelling. A former Ulster University student, Paddy will speak about his journey from digital designer to author/illustrator, his inspiration sources, creative process of writing and illustrating, the magic of picture books...and he might even read you a wee story.
