QAA is hosting a series of online roundtable discussions to explore how generative AI is affecting assessment in UK higher education. We want to talk with those involved in the design and quality assurance of assessments. The roundtables will provide an opportunity to discuss institutional approaches to generative AI in assessment, including policies, guidance, assessment design and academic integrity considerations. The insights gathered will help inform QAA’s work on quality assurance, academic integrity and the use of generative AI in assessment, and will contribute to the development of a forthcoming QAA policy paper on this topic.
