Description
Presented on two themes - 1.Digital tools for reflection Teaching is a high-stakes job, yet educators often have little time to stop and reflect on how they teach and to know if it is making an impact. Taking time to reflect on our teaching practice is an important way to both grow and improve as educators. Join Beverley as she discusses this topic and shares how Ulster University is leading the way for their PGCE students through the use of Digital Tools for reflective practice.
2. BBC Micro:bits for beginners Join Beverley as she introduces the BBC:microbit through a hands on workshop. In this session Beverley will give you a crash course on the powerful tiny computer, show you how to embed it into the primary curriculum and give you the opportunity to use Microsoft Makecode to programme a BBC micro:bit!
