This invited talk was delivered as part of a national event in London - the annual Sugar Reduction Summit - which brings together food and nutrition scientists, who work in a range of settlings (research, industry, public health), along with other key stakeholders including politicians and service users, to discuss national efforts to reduce sugar consumption in the UK.
My talk focused on recent evidence around low-calorie sweeteners and how that is translated in the media and elsewhere within the overall context of sugar reduction and health promotion.
