Interprofessional Education(IPE) Festival

Description

This was an interactive session and an opportunity for students from various disciplines to discuss values and ethics, the importance of dignity and acknowledging the worth of all individuals, respecting uniqueness and diversity, anti-oppressive practice, social justice perspectives and human rights. There was a focus on key principles of recovery, such as finding hope, and developing self-esteem and resilience; having a sense of purpose and meaning; building healthy relationships and finding new opportunities to enjoy life. Through a lived experience perspective the pressures of life and work, symptoms, diagnosis, support services and life after hospital discharge will be explored.
