Description

The inaugural Interprofessional Education Festival at Ulster University's Derry~Londonderry campus, taking place on 4th April 2025, is a ground breaking event designed to foster collaboration and mutual understanding among students from various professional disciplines within Life and Health Sciences. Focused on key issues like interprofessional competencies and collaborative leadership, the festival offers a unique opportunity for students to learn with, from, and about other professional groups, equipping them with essential skills for both academic success and future careers.

Students will have the flexibility to tailor their own learning experience by choosing from a diverse range of lectures and workshops, allowing them to build a personalised itinerary that maximises their learning and professional development. In addition to these sessions, attendees will have the chance to network with peers, faculty, and local organisations through interactive activities held across campus throughout the day.

This innovative event is one of the first of its kind, and Ulster University is proud to support its students in developing the knowledge, skills, and attributes necessary for success during their studies and beyond. The festival reflects Ulster’s commitment to preparing graduates for collaborative, interprofessional practice in an ever-evolving professional landscape.
