Description
Event descriptionTo bring together academics, practitioners and participants of disability football in a seminar on how social science can enlighten our understanding of how disability football engages communities. Through an examination of the collective experiences of those within disability football we aim to consider the challenges for further development. In doing so, we seek to demonstrate how the social sciences has, and can add value to these experiences.
A seminar on local experiences of disability football which will consist of three presentations and followed by a panel discussion comprised of players, administrators and academics. A general question and answer session will follow the panel discussion.
