Description
Pat Hume was recently described by Monica Mc Williams ‘as the woman who never gave up’. This was the inspiration behind Fire in the Belly, the third event in the Youth, Peace and Security Leadership Seminar Series. Join Hajer Sharief (Libya), Ilwad Elman (Somalia) and Emma Johnston (Northern Ireland) for a panel discussion chaired by Monica McWilliams (Northern Ireland).These four women share their unique experiences of peacebuilding. Specifically, we will focus on what works best when seeking to inspire young women to become leaders.
This seminar is in two parts: Part One is a private dialogue session between the global and local young women leaders. This is facilitated by Eliz McArdle. Part Two is a public presentation by the global speakers. This is organised and run by Professor Brandon Hamber.
