Descriptionthis symposium brought together members of CHEAD Research Alliance to ear talks from leaders in the museums, exhibition and curation of art and design fields a top explore the key challenges and opportunities facing these interconnected disciplines. themes included; museums partnering with universities and the impact agenda, public engagement, connections with industry, skills develop to and a case study of exhibition and curatorial practice as research.
KF led the planning and organising of the event supported by CHEAD administrative and policy staff, chaired the event , introduced the day with a presentation on research in curation including examples of own research and led the discussion session.
