Ulster University welcomed participants to the 31st European Association for Sport Management Conference with the theme of ‘Forward Thinking in Sport Management: Inclusivity, Accessibility and Sustainability’. Ulster University is one of the longest-serving providers of sport education in Great Britain and Ireland and our School of Sport has a mission ‘to lead, inspire and shape the future of sport’. We shared knowledge, networked and celebrated our common passion for Sport Management and its various fields at EASM 2023.The conference took place in the friendly and lively capital city of Belfast where participants received a warm welcome and from feedback received an all-round great time. The city is recognised for exceeding visitor expectations winning the prestigious title of ‘World’s Best Conference Destination’ for the second year in a row thanks to our world-class conference experiences and the good mix of business and social opportunities were available; we believe the conference enhanced this reputation.
For delegates, Northern Ireland was a welcoming, inspirational and beautiful place to visit. We ensured that delegates had an amazing EASM experience and left feeling inspired, motivated and with plenty of new friends and memories. We wish Paris 2024 all the very best for the future conference.
