Description

This Equality Inquiry Workshop was hosted by the Human Rights Consortium and the Transitional Justice Institute, and supported by the AHRC Impact Accelerator Account at Ulster University. The event was attended by approximately 25 members of civil society and academia and discussed three questions:
What are the differences in equality protections between Northern Ireland and (i) other parts of the UK and (ii) the EU including Ireland?
What are the effects that these differences have on you or the people you represent?
What legislation needs to change to make the equality protections in Northern Ireland the same as in other jurisdictions?
