Description
An ecology of care is an interdisciplinary term used in art and design, architecture, the health professions and education to describe environmental enhancements offering support, sanctuary and rejuvenation. In higher education and community art practices these art installations serve as places of assembly, generating mutual supports and shared hospitality. This will be a workshop on the interactive making of an ecology of care. By using our personal possessions as art materials (what we carry with us), we will explore ideas and practices for the art of gathering that enrich our life studios (our everyday contexts for living) with festivity.Period | 23 May 2025 |
