Golden hosted Plunkett to present a public lecture and introduce his latest book, Revolution: Interior Design from 1950, RIBA Publishing as part of a visit to review work by the BDes Hons Interior Design Course. Plunkett was Head of the Department of Interior Design at the Glasgow School of Art for over 20 years. He is a practicing interior designer, curator, exhibitor + critical writer based in London and Glasgow. His other published work includes Four Studies on Charles Rennie Mackintosh + articles and reviews for 'Designers’ Journal', 'The Architects’ Journal', 'Blueprint', 'Magazine of the Mackintosh Society' and 'Building Design'. He is the author of Drawing for Interior Design, Construction & Detailing for Interior Design, Detail in Contemporary Office Design, Retail Design and Bar + Restaurant Design.
