In this session, Football Collective members will seek to explore understandings and representations of disability, the involvement of disabled people through football, and opportunities for action and research in this area for the future. The speakers are Miro Griffiths MBE, who is a Teaching Fellow in Disability Studies at the University of Leeds, Paul Darke CEO and Founder of Outside Centre – Digital Disability, and Jason Browning, Chairperson of Lightning Powerchair Football Club in Northern Ireland. The session will be chaired by Paul Kitchin.
