This roundtable follows on from the launch of Creative Education After Brexit in September 2017 and sets out to revisit the core themes raised in the report and how to proceed with the policy recommendations raised.
With the UK due to leave the European Union in March 2019, it is vital that the creative industries and higher education institutes make their voices heard ahead of any future developments in the negotiations and as Britain aims to find a new relationship with the EU and the rest of the world in terms of trade, academic collaboration and the free exchange of ideas.
APDIG and CHEAD will take the issues raised from the meeting to prepare a term-paper to be circulated to key policy makers, including the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
