A panel discussion, design thinking workshop and visual presentation, outlining a series of design research engagements with engineering and clinical practice. Two themes were articulated through the lens of digitising the heavy Industries and personalised points of care in clinical research. Featured work included collaborations with the mining sector in Northern Ireland, ongoing collaboration with Axial3D medical 3D printing company and the Cardiac Assessment Unit in the WHSCT, through the AHRC funded Design Exchange Programme [AH/W007827/1].
