The agenda included a presentation from the AHRC Design Leadership Fellow, Professor Paul Rodgers, Prof Martyn Evans, Professor of Design, Head of Manchester School of Art Research Centre, Manchester School of Art Professor Sandy Black, Professor of Fashion & Textile Design & Technology, London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, Professor David Swann, Professor in Design, Sheffield Hallam University The day long event explored leadership challenges, case studies and personal development for leading applied and academic design research in the UK. Chaired by KF, who organised the event with CHEAD administrative staff and the CHEAD RA advisory group (chaired). KF introduced the symposium theme, chaired the day including leading the discussion panel.
