'Edges' Exhibition review, written by Michael Moore, submitted to Ceramics Ireland Nov. 26th 2024 and published in their Dec. 2024 publication date. 'Edges' was a collaborative research project bringing together artists from Ireland, the UK and Estonia under the EU 'Culture Moves Europe' fund. Co- Curated by Kay Aplin and Joseph Young (UK) and Richard Carr (Irl), Chief Curator of the Wexford Arts Centre (WAC), Ireland. Hosted by the WAS, 'Edges' 'involved a complex range of artworks, combining a variety of media, from events, residencies and exchanges across Estonia, Ireland and the UK, involving artists from four different countries. The media included sound, ceramic, photography, found objects and materials and sculpture'. 'Edges' examined the haptic experience of audience engagement with the ceramic object, the photographic image, the found object and sound recordings from natural costal environments across Europe, and involved the work of seven different artists from three different EU countries.| Period | 10 Dec 2024 |
