Description
The international peer-reviewed series Studia Celto-Slavica invites contributions on topics such as Celto-Slavic isoglosses, Indo-European linguistic heritage and archaeological data, Celtic place-names in the Slavic countries, parallels in languages, literatures and cultures, as well as similarities between Celtic and Slavic narrative and folklore traditions. Developing from this original Celto-Slavica framework, the series accepts articles on Celtic Studies topics in general. Studia Celto-Slavica was originally launched in 2006 with the publication of the Societas Celto-Slavica inaugural colloquium proceedings at Coleraine (held between 19-21 June 2005). The latest 9th issue of Studia Celto-Slavica contains five articles originally presented at the 8th colloquium of Societas Celto-Slavica held between 2-3 September 2016 at the University of Heidelberg (Germany). The 10th issue of the series is currently in preparation to contain further five papers from the Heidelberg colloquium. The series are published by the Centre for Research in Breton and Celtic Studies (CRBC) of the University of Western Brittany (UBO), Brest. This builds on long-term collaboration between research centres in Celtic Studies at Ulster University and UBO.Period | 17 Sept 2006 → 7 Dec 2021 |
