Dr Golden presented to an online international webinar with 125 registrants, on the key project aims, objectives, beneficiaries and outcomes for Belfast THRI(VES), a urban health, wellbeing and inclusive planning research project partnership between Ulster University [Urban Research Lab] and Belfast City Council, to inform how Belfast’s public spaces can more effectively and inclusively contribute to the liveability of the city and the wellbeing of its inhabitants. Dr Golden introduced Webinar Host Dr. Wendy Austin, MBE; NI Department for Communities Minister Deirdre Hargey; NI Department for Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon; and four international Speakers: Dr Gina Lovasi, Co-Director, Urban Health Collaborative, Dornsife Associate Professor of Urban Health, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Drexel University, Philadelphia, USA; Rick Mohler FAIA, Co-Chair, Seattle Planning Commission; Associate Professor of Architecture, University of Washington; Seattle, USA; Frith Walker, Head of Placemaking, Panuku Development Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), NZ; Pagan-Lilley Phillips, Programme Manager, Public Practice, Access and Inclusion Advocate, London, UK. Dr Golden's presentation, part of free public event, was funded through Belfast City Council via the Department for Communities Covid-19 Recovery Revitalisation Programme, and the Department for Infrastructure.
