Description
Prof Maxim Fomin (UU) spoke about folklore and the sea, Dr Wes Forsythe (UU) about the Madill collection and historic boats, Dr Jessica Bates (UU and Rathlin resident) on recent oral history material from Rathlin, and Sarah Dargie shared their work in bringing new life to these stories and the design process for this. This was a co-designed and co-delivered event by the Ulster University Future Island-Island project team and the Rathlin Oral History Group, and was part of the Rathlin Sound Maritime Festival 2024.
