The event was organised by Centre for Cultures of Reproduction, Technologies and Health [CORTH], School of Global Studies, University of Sussex. It was attended by academics and post grads from Yale, Harvard, Oxford, Kent, Southampton, Delhi, Barcelona, as well as legal and programme managers from BPAS, Marie Stopes International and Amnesty International. CORTH is a newly formed inter-disciplinary research centre at CORTH. This was their first event. It was attended by 14 academics and 4 staff from NGO’s.
