Description
The New York based Museum of Ceramic Art, led by Judith Schwartz, Professor Emeritus Dept. of Art and Art Education, New York University, invited Michael Moore to write an article and guide of Dublin, through the lens of Ceramic Art and Architecture. Peer reviewed and published on line in January 2025, the article features key historical and contemporary ceramic objects, collections and architecture. The article examines their position within a cultural and political context following a 4 month period of research, investigation, consultation and photography. A key focus on the MOCA ethos is to feature 'Ceramic Destinations' from all over the globe and Dublin is now featured since Jan. 2025.MOCA is followed online by their website, Facebook Page and Instagram pages (with 4977 followers to date).
