This paper presented initial research that contributes to the critical analysis of the student experience at Ulster University Business School and how lecturers can create more inclusive environments leading to students that are more engaged, more open to others with a sense of belongingness and community with improved effort levels with regards to attendance, assignment and participation. This will in turn lead to more inclusive leaders for the 21st Century.
